Information we collect

When you submit the contact form, we collect the details you provide: your name, work email, organisation, optional role, and your message. We use this solely to respond to your enquiry.

We do not require you to create an account, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

How we use your information

We use the information you submit to understand your enquiry and reply to you. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Your enquiry may be delivered to us through a secure email or messaging service so that a senior practitioner can respond. Our business email runs on Google Workspace, so correspondence with us is processed by Google as our email provider. These providers process the information only to deliver and store your messages for us.

Scheduling and third-party services

If you choose to book a consultation, scheduling is handled by Calendly, a third-party service, via an external link. Any information you enter there is processed by Calendly under its own privacy policy. We receive only the booking details needed to hold the meeting.

Payments

If you purchase a paid advisory session, payment is processed by Razorpay, a third-party payment processor, under its own privacy policy and security controls. Your card or payment details are entered directly with Razorpay and never reach our servers; we receive only confirmation of the payment, its reference, and the details needed to account for the transaction.

We are based in India and payments are processed through an Indian payment provider, so payment information may be processed outside your own country. Prices are displayed and charged in US dollars.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not run third-party analytics. Only cookies essential to the basic operation of the site and your theme preference (light or dark) may be stored on your device.

Hosting

This website is hosted on Vercel. Standard server logs (such as IP address and request metadata) may be processed by the hosting provider for security and reliability, as is normal for any website.

Retention

We keep enquiry correspondence only for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a reasonable record of our discussions, after which it is deleted.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email contact@alterrworks.com and we will respond within a reasonable period.

International visitors

Alterr Works operates from India, so information you send us is processed in India and in the systems of the service providers named in this policy. If you contact us from another jurisdiction, including the EU or UK, we honour reasonable requests to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your information through the same contact address. We process enquiry information because you asked us to respond, and payment information to fulfil a purchase.

Security

We keep the information we collect to a minimum, restrict access to it, and use reputable providers (Vercel, Google Workspace, Razorpay, Calendly) that apply their own security controls. Card details are entered directly with Razorpay and never reach our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. We may disclose information where the law requires it.

We may update this policy as our practices or the law evolve. The effective date above reflects the current version.
